Natasha + George’s Outdoor Engagement Session
Natasha + George’s outdoor engagement session was filled with a little bit of music, an abandoned restaurant, and the joy of candy. The nostalgia of where their courtship began, the now abandoned Las Alamedas on Interstate 10, was the perfect place to get started on this outdoor engagement session. While the cool weather was upon us, the bayou’s creek and wild natural growth was a breeding ground for those little mosquitos. We persevered and I can now add “mosquito squasher” to the resume. All in good fun and always with the focus of getting the perfect outdoor engagement photo. And, I believe we did. Natasha + George shared their love for this restaurant and the meals enjoyed several years ago. We decided we all missed it dearly. Part II of this outdoor engagement session introduces V, Natasha’s daughter, who has a smile which will just melt your heart. A park filled with the most majestic trees with cascading moss, a picnic where only candy will do, a couple of swings, and some balloons, brought together a few hours of pure joy. Toward sunset, we all dashed up the hill (a very large hill, that is) where Jackie Ray captured one of my most favorite engagement photos of all time. Our firm enjoyed styling this adventure for Natasha + George….but, truth be told, we stayed for the candy. Ha! Their May wedding is going to be pretty darn epic!! Get ready for some vintage inspiration. Photo Credit:: Jackie Ray Photography |
