For us, the time period from the 1920s-1950s offers so many opportunities for expression in the way of art, fashion, and style. Art Deco is one design element that sends goosebumps up the spine as everything about the style represents perfection. It is an eclectic style that combines traditional craft motifs and is often characterized by rich colours, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation. What is loved most about the art deco obsession is the passion of styling everything perfect with a purpose. Art Decor and The Great Gatsby have become synonymous with each other. The details express the finer things in life and truly celebrate elegant fashion and style taking a prominent role. Within this celebration, the characterization of the eclectic style was unrelentingly beautiful. Challenges of a venue under construction, 3-flights of stairs, August temperatures, and no electricity were not going to hold us back. We like a good challenge and we love to make epic happen. And, we would never let you see us sweat.
