Lisa + Travis: Ivory and Blush Wedding at The Houstonian
Lisa and Travis’s ivory and blush wedding at The Houstonian was a traditional setting celebrating worldly travel, the outdoors, and friends from childhood. The room was filled with some many nostalgic memories and the stories could have gone on for hours. A classic ivory shalimar linen accented with blush napkins and gold candelabras was the the perfect foundation for the cascading ivory floral. While the candlelight provided an amber glow, the leaf GOBO wallpaper projection provided the essence for the love of the outdoors. A few favorite highlights from this ivory and blush wedding was the hint of gold playfully accenting the design. Gold sugar rimmed the champagne flutes while a little gold accent found its way onto to the wedding cake. Speaking of wedding cakes, the grooms decadent masterpiece was filled with a story or two surrounding everything about travel and the arts. related articles: engagement and bridal shoot kat creech events: event planner + designer | 1 cinema: photo + cinema | palmer episcopal church: ceremony location | avalon music: ceremony music | houstonian hotel: reception location | fried ice cream: reception music | dream bouquet: floral | eb, inc events: linens | bright star productions: lighting | susies’s cakes + confections: wedding and groom’s cake| your beautiful face: hair and makeup | invitation solutions: stationary
