Many cultures believe rain on your wedding day is good luck. In the Hindu tradition, rain on the wedding day is considered lucky, as it is believed to foretell a strong marriage. The logic behind this belief is that a wet knot is more difficult to untie. While Sharon + John’s wedding had a few sprinkles, the celebration did not miss a beat. Logistics and weddings are what we do really well, and ensuring the perfect wedding style and design is always the icing on the cake.

Their Houston Polo Club wedding was inspired by a very long ancestry line and passion to the game of polo. Many of a Sunday afternoon have been spent on the fields, not only as a spectator, but also as a jockey. The stories are never-ending and the trophies were vast. Jack, the Grandfather of the Bride was a legend and it seemed only fitting to have a bar named after him.

After the very romantic and beautiful Greek Orthodox ceremony, it was off to the races. This Houston Polo Club wedding was a blend of the classic ivory and mint green, accompanied with modern floral centerpieces of tulips, callas, and orchids. With a stunning view of the polo fields, guest dinned to the tunes of Grady Gaines and enjoyed every morsel of the fantastic French cuisine.

Weddings at the Houston Polo Club are a rare breed and the opportunity to create this epic reality for this couple was a dream come true on many levels.
