Stephaine + Samuel:: Harry Potter Engagement Session
Romantic deeds are how some of the best love stories are written. The plot of he hopelessly in love trying to capture the heart of the other always captures our attention. For Stephanie and Samuel, popping the question was to be an iconic moment like none other and celebrated the true passion of a common interest. A trip over 5,000 miles to the one and only Surbiton station in Surrey, which is featured in a key scene in a Harry Potter film, was the perfect platform to pop that romantic question. It was such an exciting moment and the story was picked up by dozens of media outlets. You can glimpse a few articles here and here and here. Even the local Houston Chronicle picked up the story. While not all went according to plan, love persevered and an engagement is what we have. Naturally, celebrating the love of all things Harry Potter throughout the wedding adventure is a resounding mission. Not to be a “theme” but a cohesive thesis of a common bond which resonates with each of them. This Harry Potter Engagement session was more than just about a few chotskies, but rather each item held a very special story. All strategically placed to capture their love story. A story so sweet it made me pick up the series again to reread it while we are on the design and planning adventure of their wedding day. We had a blast styling this Harry Potter Engagement session and they also store my heart when I learned they were avid coffee lovers like me. A match made in heaven, I think. photo credit: steve lee photography |
